This kit is designed to show the "anatomy" and scope of waves and their influence on the coastline. The kit contains two experiments that cover the building of a wave machine, construction of a "coastline", and the relationship of waves to specific geography. This coincides with research and discussion on the pro's and cons of a proposed new beach resort. The National Standards covered are: motion and forces, natural and human induced hazards, and energy in earth systems. Great for Home School use.
